Review by hotel critic
Our stay at The Cook Cottage was a delightful escape in the heart of Canberra. Victor's warmth and attention to detail truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage, although cozy, was equipped with all the essentials and more, including a coffee machine for those much-needed morning brews. The proximity to local amenities and attractions, such as the National Zoo and Aquarium, made exploring the area a breeze. We appreciated the privacy and tranquility of the cottage, with its spotless interiors and comfortable bedding ensuring a restful night's sleep despite the winter chill outside. The complimentary WiFi and parking were convenient perks, and Victor's hospitable nature added a personal touch to our experience. The peaceful surroundings of Cook village, coupled with a nearby coffee shop for daily indulgences, made our getaway truly memorable. The Cook Cottage provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm for our city escape. We look forward to returning in the future and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a homely retreat in Canberra.
